Are you tired of seeing litter along our roadsides? Then wondered what could be done? You can help solve this problem by joining our Spring and Fall Litter Sweep campaigns to help restore our town's beauty.
Each year in April, Beautification Committee members gives our community a spring cleaning by picking up litter from streets, neighborhoods and waterways. Volunteers of all ages from scout troops, community organizations, neighborhoods, churches, schools, businesses, and families can participate in the cleanup.
Check back in March for info on the 2018 cleanup.
On Oct. 28, did you see the orange filled bags around town and wondered what happened? You missed our Fall Litter Sweep. We joined forces with the Black Mountain Kiwanis Club and other volunteers to clean-up our town.
