We are an all-volunteer group of individuals dedicated to beautifying the Town of Black Mountain.
Are you passionate about what we're doing? We are always looking for volunteers. Come join us as we have fun together by making the town a more beautiful place to live and visit.
We sponsor events ~ Seed Money Award & Black Mountain Garden Sale to give something special back to the community. Plus we fund raise to keep our projects growing.
Want to know more about the beautification committee? Are you interested in making the town look more special? Then join us on Tues., Feb. 18 at 5:30 pm at Town Hall. Meetings are an hour in length, we get a lot done and have fun too.
If you have a Black Mountain gardening project in mind, submit an application for our Seed Money Award. This Award was established in 2013 and we have supported over 14 projects in town. Money for this grant is funded from our annual Black Mountain Garden Sale. We will be accepting applications now.
We are always looking for volunteers who like working in the soil and / or getting those darn paper cuts. So check out our list of things to do and email us!
Save the Date for the Black Mountain Garden Sale to be held on May 15 and 16 at The Monte Vista Hotel in Black Mountain. Applications are going out to vendors. If you are interested in being a vendor, we ask that you sell items that are garden related. Questions, just contact us below.
Would you like to take a bit of Town Square home with you! Well you can stop by Town Hardware and purchase a notecard set of the 4 seasons of Town Square created by local artist & beautification member, Joyce Black-Woerz. All the funds support our beautification projects.
While you are walking around the Historic District, check out our containers. They are filled with plants that should take the cold weather coming up. Each street has a different design which makes them interesting. The plant material was amazing this fall, just look at this beautiful ornamental cabbage!
